So I'm not sure if anyone is popping by checking for stories/updates, but just in case... I wanted to let people know that RL has become fairly time-consuming and I'm not sure at what point it's going to let up. So I'm pulling back on my internet presence (sorry that I have been and will be failing at commenting) aside from my commitment over at epic_recs

Notes: So this is Tony's POV of what Steve was remembering here. And damn, Tony’s POV is hard! Um, so yes, this is my first try at writing from Tony’s perspective, and a young Tony who hasn’t developed much in the way of dealing with people yet at that. I tried writing him with more of young kid voice, and he demanded that I stop being patronizing. Then I tried to tone down his effed-upness and he wouldn’t cooperate. He just didn’t want to be written any other way than eff-ed up. So um, I’d really love to know what you guys think especially about how Tony’s voice turned out in the end.

Oh, and just to clarify (since I had to firmly place Steve and Tony in a time line instead of fuzzy, ageless comic!world) in this story Steve is 12 and Tony is 9.

 

Summary: March, 1995. Yahoo! has just been founded, the O.J. Simpson criminal trial is currently underway, the Oklahoma City Bombing is one month in the future, and Tony Stark and Steve Rogers meet for the first time.
